The fall in the ISM manufacturing index below the 50 threshold was one of the main reasons for these concerns. It is therefore welcome news that the index has passed back through 50 to read 51.8, <b>boosted by a strong upturn in the new orders component that increased to 58, its highest level since November 2014. The Non-Manufacturing ISM rose 1.1 points to 54.5<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1929\" src=\"https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/graphweek14.jpg\" alt=\"graphweek14\" width=\"1087\" height=\"614\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/graphweek14.jpg 1087w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/graphweek14-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/graphweek14-768x434.jpg 768w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/graphweek14-1024x578.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/graphweek14-600x339.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1087px) 100vw, 1087px\" \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Our Analysis<\/b><\/p>\n<p>US first quarter economic growth figures may well turn out to be disappointing.
