The data indicates a <b>resilient European economy following the Brexit vote and <\/b><b>confirms <\/b><b>the upturn in US growth<\/b>.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>US GDP grew at an annual rate of 2.9% with household spending, although slower than in the second quarter, remaining a significant growth driver. Stronger exports along with a boost from inventories also contributed to GDP growth, whereas investments remained disappointing.<\/li>\n<li>In the Eurozone and the UK, detailed growth data have not yet been published but advance estimates are 1.4% for the Eurozone, in line with expectations, and 2.0% for the UK, which is above expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3884\" src=\"https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Image1CHARTWEEK44NEW.png\" alt=\"image1chartweek44new\" width=\"1085\" height=\"566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Image1CHARTWEEK44NEW.png 1085w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Image1CHARTWEEK44NEW-300x156.png 300w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Image1CHARTWEEK44NEW-768x401.png 768w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Image1CHARTWEEK44NEW-1024x534.png 1024w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Image1CHARTWEEK44NEW-600x313.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1085px) 100vw, 1085px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>OUR ANALYSIS<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Purchasing Managers&#8217; Index figures in recent months suggest that <b>the improvement in western growth is set to continue.<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>In the US, September\u2019s ISM index readings jumped sharply and flash PMI releases for October also show sharp rebounds.<\/li>\n<li>In the Eurozone, October\u2019s composite PMI index jumped to 53.7, a record high since January 2016.<\/li>\n<li>In the UK, equally buoyant data are a sign that the immediate consequences of Brexit may not be as harsh as initially feared.
