The component measuring new export orders is stabilising, although remaining reduced seeing it has fallen by four points over the past six months.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-9342\" src=\"https:\/\/lazardfreresgestion-tribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2018\/12\/china-graph.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1019\" height=\"474\" srcset=\"https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/china-graph.png 1019w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/china-graph-300x140.png 300w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/china-graph-768x357.png 768w, https:\/\/latribune.lazardfreresgestion.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/china-graph-600x279.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1019px) 100vw, 1019px\" \/>OUR ANALYSIS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the time being, foreign trade statistics do not exhibit a decline in Chinese exports, despite tensions regarding trade relations with the United States. After an increase of 7.9% in 2017, they rose by 12.6% over the first ten months of the year. The deterioration of new export orders, nonetheless, raises concerns over a possible trend reversal in months to come. Such a turn of events would reinforce pressure on manufacturing sectors.
