At the end of October 2016, CFS Rating ranked Lazard Frères Gestion 1st on the Fixed Income funds league table, with a global rating of 4.33 stars.
Lazard Frères Gestion’s bond mutual funds obtain ratings of either 4 or 5 stars.
In particular, the convertible bond fund “Lazard Convertible Global R” was ranked 5 stars, with a 3-year annualised return of 9.48%.
Since the beginning of the year, the fund ranks in the first quintile within the convertible bonds category, which includes 170 funds.
Methodology used by CFS Rating
CFS Rating is an independent financial ratings agency, which produces monthly a ranking of the best asset management firms, either globally or by asset class. The methodology used consists in the calculation of the average rating in each segment for every asset manager. In particular, CFS Rating takes into account the following criteria:
- Funds that have more than three years of track record;
- The valuation ranges from 1 to 5 stars, where 5 stars is the best result;
- The assessment is built on two indicators: the modified Sharpe Ratio and the Alpha.
